Which App for Xbox One Is Best at Making Game Clips Into a Montage Ready to Upload?
I'm in the same boat as the original affiche. Upload studio back up was stopped and i can't fifty-fifty trim a video in the xbox app. I besides take no way to join videos whatsoever longer. Why was this app removed,? I understand there's no back up, in that location hasnt been for years now but the app still worked well for the most office. This actually sucks and sharing clips and montages with friends is no longer possible on xbox.

Okay, then while investigating the upshot, I came across a website that referred to a message Microsoft had sent out to Xbox Live users.
(Embarrassingly plenty, I didn't even notice until I read almost information technology on that site. Then, I checked my letters and there it was.
(This is the message I received on 9/21/2020)
"Thank you for playing on Xbox. This fall, we're replacing Upload Studio with a new share feel bachelor via the Xbox app on mobile. You lot tin still trim your game clips from the Capture & share tab in the console guide, and with the new experience on mobile it's unproblematic to manage your uploaded captures and share them to popular social media sites."
Under the message they provided a link you can reach past clicking on "Launch site"

This is sooooooo frustrating. Xbox seems to take decided information technology'due south ok to continually remove functionality. Offset, they removed the ability to share recorded PC gameplay. This also removed the ability to edit Xbox clips from PC. So, I was heavily reliant on trimming on the Xbox, but the "new" manner has never worked for me. 100% of the fourth dimension, information technology gets stuck. So, I always used Upload Studio. Now, that doesn't work either. I'm heavily involved in an Xbox Club, but at present it's pointless. If I want to share, I take to share a 2 minute clip, and tell them to go to a specific minute mark? STUPID! Also, now I tin't edit recordings straight from Xbox Live. So, once they are no longer on my Xbox, I'1000 screwed (that'due south assuming I even could apply the broken, only method to trim, now).

I agree! I tin can't empathise why, only it's as if Microsoft doesn't want Xbox to have user anymore. PC already has such an advantage in every way over xbox. Why take away the few little crappy features nosotros had left!? Seriously! And Microsoft just keeps stripping it more & more. I use to honey Microsoft merely within the last few years, I'm highly disappointed with their path they've decided to take catering solely to PC & the neglect they now show for the loyal xbox users they've had for many years.

In regards to the editing.... accept you found anything yet to edit your videos on xbox? I can't find anything. I have the same outcome when attempting to trim my videos, itll cease half way threw, my screen turns black & that'southward information technology. Upload studio wasn't the all-time, but it withal let the states trim & edit with a scattering of editing options.
All I simply want is to trim & upload some gaming clips. That's information technology. Nada fancy, non trying to brand a movie for YouTube....I just wanna post some clips on xbox. Lol
Why is that so difficult? Why tin can't a multibillion dollar company brand that happen? Or better however, why keep taking from Xbox? And so pissed off with Microsoft. Lol. I really am.

I adopt playing on PC, just with a immature family, information technology's difficult to get into a reckoner game. It's much easier to play a panel game. My son loves sitting on my lap while I'm playing games.
It would exist annoying if they removed your preferred manner of editing, merely they've gone beyond that, and fabricated it impossible to edit at all. That's more than abrasive, it feels nearly evil.

I still accept non establish a solution. I even reset my Xbox, bold there was just something corrupt, merely after resetting, I yet become the consequence of the blackness screen afterwards attempting to trim video clips. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I believe setting the recording resolution to 720p makes it a little easier to edit using the "new" mode. Tends to freeze/crash less often. But it notwithstanding does it from fourth dimension to fourth dimension.
I don't know what's so new well-nigh information technology, that crappy beginning-aid editor was there I think always. Upload Studio was mode ameliorate. As someone said, not perfect but gave us a lot of options. I'd expect it to be updated for Series Due south/X, not buried similar so many other useful or creative projects they abased.
